‘Hello Sunday Morning’ Road Race

In conjunction with Hello Sunday Morning, the HSE, Cork Local Drug & Alcohol Task Force, and Southern Regional Drug & Alcohol Task Force, we invite you to attend this chip timed 4 mile event.

‘Hello Sunday Morning’ encourages individuals to look at changing the pattern of their drinking by taking a break from alcohol & incentivising that break with goals e.g. taking up running/exercise. Further details can be found at www.hellosundaymorning.org

This race is also supported by Healthy IrelandHealthy Ireland is the national framework for action to improve the health and wellbeing of our country over the coming generation. Based on international evidence, it outlines a new commitment to public health with a considerable emphasis on prevention, while at the same time advocating for stronger health systems (Healthy Ireland Framework).

This event is open to all levels from joggers to elite runners.  There will be prizes for first three female & male athletes.

The race takes place on Sunday 19th March at 10:30am.  Registration can be done online or will also be available on the race day from 09:30am.  Technical t-shirts are available for the first 200 registrations.
